Moortown lodge is a splendid b&b! Mark and sabine are so friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for new forest adventures and beautiful coastal walks. The breakfast was really good, with fresh fruit and homemade goodies, made our mornings good.

Very nice hosts: Leslie was very helpful and gave us great tips. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared. We had a big, beautiful room with a relatively large bathroom. Very good place as a starting point for excursions into the New Forest.
Location of the room on the ground floor directly at the main street.

Very nice hosts, extremely eager. Incredibly tasty freshly prepared scrambled eggs for breakfast. Beautiful room, parking directly at the hotel.
We had a room facing the street - with an open window, unfortunately, sleep is not an option. When the window is closed everything is ok .

Everything was excellent, including great staff and magnificent location next to the Brewery. Deluxe room with large comfy bed was the best. Staying at the hotel was fantastic, I will certainly stay here again.

We were met with a welcoming smile and shown directly to our room. This had all the requirements, tea, coffee, TV including DVD player facility, although we did not use the DVD, TV and everything else seemed fine. Good location for a trip into The New Forest, which is why we stayed at Moortown Lodge. All in all would recommend.
Parking was a bit limited, however given the road side location and size of the B&B probably to be expected.

We took advantage of the extensive walks in the New Forest and enjoyed a thrilling day at the nearby Matchams Karting Circuit. The breakfast was another highlight, delicious and customizable!
In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly activities would be great.

Impressed with the thought put into whats required in a room - the little pack of things you always forget to take with you was very thoughtful. Fantastic cooked breakfast.
Only minor downside was the lack of restaurants within walking distance, but small price to pay

The owners/managers have gone to a lot of trouble to put all the little luxuries into the room. We stayed in Room 6 on the ground floor as I currently have a broken ankle so it was particulary appropriate. From tissues, toiletries, bath robes, hairdryer, tea and cafetierre, water and free inland calls, I could find anything the room lacked. Breakfast was a feast!
